“ What difference can a volunteer make?” Since 1813 volunteers have worked in the prison setting. Today prison administrators are aware that inmates need role models from the free world to prepare them for their EOS ( End Of Sentence) and inevitable release. This session will answer the question, “ What difference can a volunteer make?”

The time shared in this workshop will consider the importance and value that a Young Adult Sabbath School can have on your local churches.

“Young adults in local church ministry” Starting a Young Adult ministry takes time, effort, patience, and prayer. But it can be done. This seminar will focus on the basics of starting a Young Adult ministry in the church, which will include but not be limited to: Identifying a core team of leaders, working within local church leadership, reaching out to the community and other local young adult groups, strengthening Sabbath Schools, and organizing events.
